After many hours of messing with the source code with my brother KZK, we have a simple hack of Metroid. It's the exact same game, but rather than starting off at 30 energy with all your tanks empty only to go kill those little flying guys thats spawn out of a pipe for a half hour to get back to full energy... You start at full energy.

Brad...come on.

Anyway, I also love Metroid. It always bothered me that you never started out at full strength. I don't really get why they did that (besides making the game a bit harder, perhaps).

Yeah it never really made any sense to me either. By mid game 30 energy means you're dead in 1 hit anyways.

I care. Then again, I believe that someone who does something that sucks is still better than someone who does nothing at all. And by that mindset, MaxHacker is probably one of the top 10 hackers to have posted on this board in the last year!
