I just beat the game, for the first time, today. Good game, like a mix of Chrono Trigger and Zelda. The game is easy though, except for one boss (Bloody Mary). The story is nice, especially near the end.

Highly recommend it.

I know it's part of an un-official trilogy (Soul Blazer, Illusion Of Gaia and Terranigma)

I did beat Illusion Of Gaia once, but I've never played Soul Blazer.

I myself would recommend Soul Blazer. Just something about that game...I love it.

Anyway, I'm a fan of Terranigma too. I wish they'd just officially bring it out in the US...an english NTSC version...for the Virtual Console.

Loved it too.

Especially the religious allegory.

Not often you get to be a digital Jesus.

Heh. I can't say I thought of that, but you are right (and I should have thought of it). He IS like a digital Jesus.

"Alright. Now go save the world for all creatures."

BTW, if anyone can beat Bloody Mary without using magic, post here.

Well, I did beat her by diving into her all long. No magid used, and I was using the Light Sword, as it seems to be effective on her.

Wouldn't that still take forever?

And this is 1 of those rare games where you don't need to level much. Except at that particular point.

YOu must play and beat Soul Blazer, it is old school goodness. It was one of the first SNES games I had when I was in the 2nd grade. For the love of god, you must play that game. This is speaking from my childhood era lol. :thumb up:

Probably. They have videos of everything on YouTube (very nearly, anyway).

watched some videos on it. I swear it looks like a FF6 and Secret of the stars fusion. with a battle system that looks like Chrono Trigger's. Very interesting.

Give the game a try if you haven't.

It's well worth it.

My only real complaint with it is that the game, even sidequests included, is insanely short, and pretty easy [apart from a single point].

Terranigma and Soul Blazer BOTH greats games, kinda reminds me of Illusion of Gaia. Good game, but short as hell. Action RPG's are the best! :)
