epsxe memory card - same game, different file

Thanks in advance to anyone who may be able to help me out.

I'm playing FFVII and am at a point where the game freezes (the waterfall at the end of disk 2). Anyhow, I downloaded an alternate ISO file assuming that the original ISO was corrupt.

My problem is: when I fire up the new disk 2 ISO, all of my memory card slots are blank.

Can anyone tell me how to get the old ISO memory card info into the new ISO file???

So...the emulator doesn't display any saves, or are the physical files that contain your memcard data gone/corrupted?
