I found Avast kind of slowed down my PC a bit though not close to as badly as Norton Antivirus does. Avira or AVG are much better unless you have a really powerful computer then I guess it doesn't matter.

I am taking a break from game reviewing for a little bit. Now I am not leaving for good, but its just best right now I take some time away. One of the biggest reasons is a family member of mine is not in good health at all. I don't really want to go more into it. A few people know about it, but other then that. I just need some time away. A few weeks or so. Maybe to clear the head a bit. Of course I may work on a few scripts here and there. but other then that, I just need to take a break.

I really do appreciate the comments about my videos, the subscriptions on Youtube, and all the cool people I have met. Its been really nice, and fun.

As for when I will be coming back. Well, I think I might be back to uploading videos on June 30th. Which is the last day of the month, if I decide to wait a little longer, I will let you all know.

I haven't watched the review yet (I'm on dialup) but the proper pronunciation should be Boe Koe Sue Kaw.

Also, I was just being a dick and recommending the game so as to trick you into playing it. But you should check out the MSX version of the game and you'll find out that the game itself is far better than the NES port. In every version except NES, you start out with like 20 warriors in your army, whereas in the NES version you start out alone.

But since I did recommend the game, I'll not be a dick and watch the review when I'm not on dialup.

Edit: I went ahead and watched it (took over an hour to load) so I could do the speed test that some moron is whining about. I'll admit that your review didn't suck nearly as much ass as I expected it to. (For the record, I think the absolute greatest game review videos of all time suck ass, so you can take that as a semi-compliment.)

The pronunciation I provided above (with the ending pronounced -kaw) would be the correct Japanese pronunciation but I imagine a majority of Americans, myself included, pronounce the ending as -kuh. But I'm relatively sure that the publisher's name is pronounced ass-key, not Ay Es See 2, just for the record.

Also, the original version of Bokosuka Wars (for the Sharp X1) won a contest to be published by ASCII. Imagine the games that lost. I have a copy of New Bokosuka Wars which came out a couple of years later and is supposedly greatly improved but I haven't actually tried it yet.

It has really nice background graphics but is unquestionably the worst game ever created when it comes to actually playing it. You know I do these reviews as a form of entertainment, kinda similar to what the Angry Video Game Nerd does. I use to get all pissed off at what people say, ya know, and your compliment didn't offend me. I had fun actually reviewing this one. Mainly trying to come up with stuff to attack the game, ya know. I just want to give a special thanks to all my subscribers. Don't know how many times I can thank you all for being a great group of people. This is my 100th video, and I have over 2,000 subscribers, which is really cool.

I just want to say thanks to some people who have inspired me to do this.

Many of my inspirations have been other game reviewers, if they did written reviews, or video reviews. My inspiration are, the Angry Video Game Nerd, SpoonyOne, Seanbaby and the whole Broken Pixels guys on 1up.com. Shawn Elliott, Jeff Green, Ryan Scott, and others from GFW/CGW Radio (wish this podcast was still around), Retronauts Podcast (great 1up.com podcast to listen to) Oddcast Podcast (another 1up.com podcast that is awesome) Jeff Gertsmann, Classic Game Room, and ScrewAttack

As I have stated in some updates, I will still be reviewing, but there might be some weeks, I release 2 to 3 videos, and there might be some days I might release 1 if not any. I am currently focusing on offline things, and other hobbies of mine. I don't plan on stopping the reviews, but there are other things I like to do. I do these reviews because I was always a fan of retro games, and video games in general. On top of that, I always wanted to do this, and see where it goes. Like I said its a hobby, and its something I try to make fun.

Also you may have noticed some of the small changes to my videos, no more titles, and using different music (mainly game music) I was just trying some new stuff, and it seems to be working real well. As for metal music being used in my videos. I still will use it sometimes, but I like to throw some game music in there too.

As for scripts and writing. I am currently trying to make that better. I know some people don't like the way I write, and I can somewhat understand, because I am not even close to being a good writer, but I am trying to make things better. Some do like the way I write my scripts, and I do appreciate that. Also, I been working on how I speak in my videos, and try to be myself.

You may have also noticed, that the bad language has been cut back, not as many F'bombs and so on. I did this, to try to make the videos a little better, and kind of get away from the "getting angry" aspect of my videos. Although sometimes I like to raise my voice. I think its best I clean up the language a bit, but occasionally something might slip through

Looking back at my older reviews on this account. I have to say, I have improved a little (some may think not, but thats ok) and hopefully the future reviews will be better. I do not have the equipment as alot of game reviewers have, but I am trying my best, and believe me, there are soemtimes I think, why the hell did I release that video.

Lets talk a little bit about the Let's Wrestles, There still will be those, I am actually going to restart that series again (possibly deleting the old ones, except for a few) and making those better, and kind of cutting back a little bit on the language. the Let's Wrestles will still be made, just not as much as they use to be.

Well I hope this wasn't too long to read, just a big update of what is going on, and just thanking all of you, who have watched my videos, subscribed, commented, added me as a friend, and so on. Hell even my haters, this is a thank you, to you.

Just a little update. I have decided to go with a name for my game reviews. It will be called Gamer X, also known as The Gamer X Show. This mainly generated from a idea from a G1 over at ScrewAttack.com, and I thought it was a great idea to start a show there, but not only there, but to my Youtube account as well. Now I am not starting a new Youtube or anything. This is just a project done with AR Productions. So I won't be changing my username anywhere. It will stay the same.

I also have created a playlist on Youtube, for Season 1 reviews, and gaming videos and I have named it The Gamer X Show Season 1.

I been doing a lot thinking the last 8 hours or so about writing this, and I know I said that I was going to be back next year on a previous vlog, and stream, but I think I am going to have to change that decision.

This year MIGHT be my final year of doing reviews, lets plays, ROM Hack Theater, etc.

I just think that it is time to move on, and focus more on important things. Of course, my official final decision will be in December, but right now, I think it is time for me to move on, and don't be surprised if I do call it good. Now, it might not be forever, I may end up coming back (lol pulling a KISS) but I think some time off, would be a good thing.

It has been fun, a very fun time, I really have enjoyed doing them, but in all honesty, the fun is kind of going away, and I think it is more me then anything, because I get so busy and then when I feel like I am ready to work on a review, I am not ready.

I remember when I first started, I was so nervous, even though i wasn't showing up on camera and so on. It was on my old account, and it was Super Mario Bros. I also remember a lot of people hating my stuff because I was a Angry Video Game Nerd or Irate Gamer ripoff. I use to get mad but now I look back and laugh, because those videos were crap lol.

So many fun memories of doing this in such a short time too, and I have made friends with so many good people, and great gamers, reviewers, Let's Players etc.

If I decide to come back in 2012, I will probably going on the approach of 1 review a month and maybe a few Let's Plays, etc.

Just going to kinda wait and see how things go the rest of this summer, and through the fall, before I make that 100% decision.

I am going to change my review list up a little and get games in there that need to be reviewed.

To be honest, when I first started, I never thought I would have this many subscribers, I thought I would of had maybe 40 subscribers at the most.
