Requirements:
=============

* Pentium MMX class.
* at least 24Mb RAM
* A Fast graphics card which is supported for DirectX5 
  or a 3Dfx Voodoo card for the 3Dfx GLIDE driver.
* Windows 95,98 or NT
* MFC debug DLLs.
* BIOS image.

Installation guide:
===================

* Unzip the package with a zip file extractor (available at http://www.windows95.com/)
  Make sure that you have 'Use Folder Names' enabled!
  A directory named PSEmuPro should have been created with the following 
  subdirectories:

  \bios
  \dev
  \plugin
  \snap

* Copy your BIOS image to the \bios directory and make sure it is named SCPH1000.BIN
  (no, we do NOT email the BIOS, nor give locations to where you can find it)
* Make sure you have installed the MFC debug libraries
* You should now be able to run PSEmu by clicking the icon.
 

Controllers:

Only pad 1 is emulated for now .. PAD2 and configurable keys will be implemented soon.

Known problems:
===============

As with most Freeware first public Beta releases, this program will not work correctly 
on every computer out there. Sorry, this is only a BETA release. This program 
works correctly on our computers, and we will try to make it work on your computer too!

We are using:

* Windows NT
* SCSI CDROM drive
* Riva128 based 2D Graphics card
* 3dfx voodoo 3D card

The following things are KNOWN to cause problems:

* IDE CDROMS will probably not work correctly. You can try downloading the ASPI32.exe
  package to get it to work, but you will probably not succeed .
  You can use the DAO image driver to try and run games. 

* The Software driver is not compatible with a lot of 2D cards. Try to use the 
  3dfx Glide driver (if you have a 3dfx card of course!)

Please .. this is just a first public beta release. We *could* have waited with 
releasing this emulator for another month or so.. until we ironed out more of the bugs.
Instead .. we are giving you this 'as is'. If it works for you .. great! if not,
stay tuned for the Beta2, or the final release!
