Definitive Guide to ROM Hacking for Complete Beginners, The	This doc is more of a FAQ that tells you how to teach yourself how to rom hack.
Jair's ROM Hacking Tutorial	Great doc that covers most topics of translating and hacking.
Nemesis's LZSS Compression Doc	An explanation of the LZSS compression scheme sometimes seen in PSX and SNES games. Warning: This document is en français.
SNES ROM Hacking	Good explanation of how to add Game Genie-type features into the ROMs themselves. Uses examples and explains for both HiROM and LoROM games.
The Name Tables Doc	When tiles are used in two different places it can cause a problem. Name Tables allow you to fix that.
The PlayStation hacking doc	As before, this is mostly catered to ROM hackers who have experience. If you're a complete newbie to the subject of game hacking, go play with some NES games or something first.
The ROM Hack Document	Horribly outdated but one of the first ROM hacking documents. This file still has a lot of good technical information that you won't find in other documents, so I recommend reading it anywayz.
The ROM Hacking Translating for anyone Vol 1 The ROM Hacking Translating for anyone Vol 2	This runs through the process of rom hacking/translating...volume 1 is the basics and volume 2 discusses more advanced techniques.
Title Screen HackingMade Easy	How to hack title screens the easy way. This doc descibes a very detailed yet easy method of hacking title screens.
Zdawg's NES ROM Hacking Document	Covers such topics as table creation, Japanese text dumping and script extraction/insertion w/ formats for beginners & dummies alike.
